chalkdust21
With no other reviews I could find, I went out on a limb and ordered a six pack of Henning production base pads for my stock 2. I have only done a little dry fire with them but so far I am happy with the decision. The front blends into the magazine so well, it really does provide a great grip. This also helps eliminate the occasional pinch of skin between the base pad and magwell. I usually run grip tape on the bottom but I don't think that's necessary on these. Probably will have to clean out the grooves after dropping them in the mud but that's better than dirt stuck in grip tape. Seems like a good product at a good price. Czechnology
They weigh in at 0.60 oz How does this weight compare to the stoeger and springer precision basepads?
BeerBaron
I love the henning 140 pads but for production I prefer the shockbottle pads. They are nice.
himurax13
I bought 12 of them due to the Black Friday Sale. I like them so far but I wish there was more meat in front so it would be flush with the front strap and just a smidge taller.
stuman
I know a few people had issues with the original Henning base pads allowing the mags to be over-inserted and inducing a jam. Does this re-design prevent that like the Springer pads do? Glad to see they moved away from the set screw for mounting.
skullmug
Got mine last week and have shot 2 matches and a long practice session. No problems out of them yet. I bought a total of 6 and saved $50 over the shock bottles. We will see how they hold up.
