questions about using other makers dies in my 550

I just picked up a pacific rifle 2 die set for $10. This has the seat and crimp in one die. Can I make that die just crimp or just seat, I would prefer to seat with it and get the crimp die from brian when I order the quik change. So can I adjust the die to only seat?

No problem in adjusting the seat/crimp die to seat only. Put a sized, empty case into station 3, and pull the handle down. With the handle down and the case lifted up, screw the seat die down until it stops against the case, then back it up 1/4 turn. Finger tighten the die body lock ring. Now adjust the bullet seat stem in the top of the die to seat the bullet to the desired depth. For best concentricity, tighten both die lock rings with a loaded cartridge in the die.
