saibot
I would like to check that the safety block isn't being defeated by adjusting the trigger pre-travel settings on my aftermarket trigger. Is there an easy and accurate way to check? I thought I'd pull the extractor and try to eyeball it but I'm not sure that's going to work and thought I'd ask the experts here. Thanks, all. bowenbuilt
You can view the operation of these 2 parts and their relationship by shining a flashlight through the empty magazine well. You can watch the striker block depress as the trigger is pulled and also watch it as you tighten up the pre-travel on the trigger. I adjust mine until I see it just touch the striker block plunger but no further.
