i have a couple of para questions,,,

does it hurt a para to dry fire,,,do i need to get snap caps,,,i have a g-19 that i got used to dry firing a lot,,,so i need to know,,,

i need a good break down book or chart for the 1911,,,specifically the p16-40 limited,,,there are a great many of them on the market,,,does anyone have an opinion on which would be the best,,,i'm fairly techically minded and i would like to explore doing some work on my gun myself,,,ie...springs etc,,,i need a good book that i can use as good reference,,,

thanks,,,

Wouldn't that be a Para questions? (pair'o questions...get it...lol..oh well)

No it won't hurt to dry fire it, perfectly fine.

You can order disassembly books from Brownells, either general ones or 1911 specific if I recall. Any current ones should cover the para type guns..the only thing different with them from STI/SVI/Caspian is the firing pin safety and its the same as Colts, so it should be covered.
