arkadi
I mean, to separate complete cartridge and media. I use Dillon separator after case tumbling. But somewhat afraid to do the same to primed rounds. Edited December 22, 2015 by arkadi

Be careful about media size and hollow points not getting it stuck in the point.jj Edited December 22, 2015 by RiggerJJ
BeerBaron
I mean, to separate complete cartridge and media. I use Dillon separator after case tumbling. But somewhat afraid to do the same to primed rounds. The same method I detailed works with loaded rounds too. I had to do it a few times when I was trying dillon case lube. Now I use one shot and don't need to tumble the finished rounds.
tires2burn
About five min in a corncob tumbler cleans the one-shot off and makes them look new. I have noticed that if I store them is a zip lock after a while the one-shot gets sticky so that's why I clean them.
arkadi
Following videos made me much more comfortable tumbling live ammo: https://youtu.be/8ad9e0mO8Q4 https://youtu.be/3SlOXowwC4c
SlowShooter
I also have had problems with Hornady OneShot case lube leaving a sticky residue, it's fine when first applied but come back in about 2 weeks and the rounds are all gummy. Fwiw, the CMP ships 200 rounds of 30-06 loose in an ammo-can via FedEx with no problems.... After riding around on a bumpy truck ride, being dropped on the floor, etc. Edited December 26, 2015 by SlowShooter
Dirtchevy841
30 minutes seems kinda long. I tumble mine for 5-10 minutes tops. All lube gone. And I keep using the same cob to take lube off till it's so dirty. Seems like it polishes s little more also.
