Chamber Size?

I am getting a STI Edge in the mail next week and I am wondering if OAL of 1.2 is too long for a factory barrel. (180 JHP Montana Gold) Would like to load some ammo before hand, but don't want to waste time. Or would 1.185 be closer to the norm for a stock barrel. My mags will not be hear from Beven Grams for a few weeks, so feeding is not the issue now, just some fun and breaking it in.

Mine always liked them short. Try 1.180 or so, IIRC.

Mine will run anything from factory to 1.2, but I load 1.145

Mine works best at 1.180 OAL with most bullets except with the Montana Gold 180 JHP. I had to drop the OAL of the MG 180 JHP to 1.165 to be reliable.

I shoot a SV with an AET barrel. The 180 MG's loaded at 1.185 have been totally reliable in my gun. I have not had one singe jam in about 2000 rounds. I have shot bullets loaded out to 1.2 with no problems also.

1.2"OAL with 180 gr round nose

1.175 with 180 zero JHP's

No feeding problems in my edge with these lengths.

STI Edge here, I load MG JHP180's to 1.20" and they are 100%!!! VERY accurate too!
