RickT Posted September 12, 2015 Share Posted September 12, 2015 My H&K sights are 3 dot and set up with POI coincident with the front dot. Our practice range has a large tree overhanging the shooting box; the combination of a bright background and shooting from the shade really decreases the contrast of my 1911's target sights. The H&Ks white dots really stand out. I'm more accurate with the 1911, but really like the H&K sight picture. I'm thinking of going with a Dawson FO rear target sight (have a Dawson FO front sight) and either the conventional sight picture or lower the rear sight to achieve an H&K sight picture. In any event I think the FO rear might be a good move. Anyone use the H&K sight picture? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
