rustybayonet
My plan for reloading is keeping with dillon products. If I do this, and go with the quik change kit for each caliber, I will end up with a lot of powder charge bars. Question: can we trade them in for other products? dolton916
I asked and was told no. Just put the extras in a drawer, I have 9 so far or post em up and try to trade or sell them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Matt1
If you load for more than a couple of cals then you are almost certain to be better off buying the individual parts rather than full quick change kits. Otherwise you'll end up with lots of spare parts you'll never use. Do a search on here for "gunwiki" it's a good resource for working out what parts you need for different combinations of cals. Powder bars are cheap enough that you can get one for each load that you shoot if you want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
John Wayne
For me, I change out as little as possible so quick changes are great for me. When I can, I purchase the ultimate Quick Change (a new press dedicated to a certain caliber) :^) I have noticed the large powder bars sell pretty well on ebay. jmorris
Let me know what you want for them. I keep tool heads set up ready to go minus the measure, just have the preset powder bar and powder check arbor with them. Only takes one bolt to swap out the powder bar and you don't even have to remove it just back it off.
dolton916
I just buy the powder measure and tool head from Dillon its $103 delivered or from the local shop $98 not worth the hassle of having to change pieces, just swap the heads. I leave the presses set up fully stocked so changing the powder hopper is too much work for me.
