Most FFP scopes on one power the reticle is very hard to see especially if you don't have bright enough illumination. Most FFP scopes I have looked through are not as bright as SFP. Is it as heavy as a Razor? Thanks for your first hand evaluation. Helps.

timawa
I have Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x and satisfied with it but the weight is driving me nuts. I wanted to upgrade to a 1-8x scope but is this PA scope has significant difference in weight compared to vortex? I replaced the vortex cantilever scope mount with aero precision ultralight mount but still significantly heavy. thanks

The platinum 1-8 being discussed here is significantly heavier than your strike eagle.
