On one power is the reticle bold enough to see clearly?

Most FFP scopes on one power the reticle is very hard to see especially if you don't have bright enough illumination.

Most FFP scopes I have looked through are not as bright as SFP.

Is it as heavy as a Razor?

Thanks for your first hand evaluation. Helps.

Yes the reticle is bold enough to see clearly on 1x.

No its not as bright as the Razor for illumination but it is daylight visible.  Yes its as heavy as the razor

I have Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x and satisfied with it but the weight is driving me nuts. I wanted to upgrade to a 1-8x scope but is this PA scope has significant difference in weight compared to vortex? I replaced the vortex cantilever scope mount with aero precision ultralight mount but still significantly heavy.

thanks

They all list the weight on their website. The platinum 1-8 being discussed here is significantly heavier than your strike eagle.
