asimonp79
Hello there. After short wait and some paper work I got my hand on Bul 1911 Single stack. The pistol will be used for IPSC Clasic (MINOR) devision. The Bul company does some fine pistols, and since my hart was always for " full steel gun" and I was always trilled by the looks of the Classic 1911 I decided to get my hands on one of them. The Bul 911 Classic (competition model) is very nice built gun and I did a review on it. Part1:

EngineerEli
Is that a certain model as sold, or is that a semi custom where you specially requested, and paid for, certain features to be added to the gun? Does look to have a very impressive feature set as you have it there!
asimonp79
Hello Guys There are different frames ( fully black or Gray - like in the video, checkering or no checkering), different callibers, you can have bushing/bull barrel. Safety ambi or Ledt side only. I asked for these specific features on the pistol ( bull barrel, Ti-Ni on barrel, G10 grips and square trigger guard- all checkered) Please notice that you can write email with questions to the factury itself ( in Israel, the support speaks fluent English and will get back to you). I wrote an emai lto the bul company: info@bultransmark.com And had all my issues solved. Regards
asimonp79
Good Morning, So today I shot the pistol. I tested reliability, reloaded 8 mags, shot 7 brands of ammo. Gun never gammed, all the primers went first shot. No failure to feed or extract. Also the fast splits were tested- I got real fast to 0.8sec splits and even 0.12sec After years of shooting other brands of pistols - I can say that the feeling of 1911 SS is new to me. The " soft recoil working slide" is absolutely new sensation. I am still getting used to the soft trigger- but still the results are not my best. + I am uploading more videos- will update it soon enough So here is a shot, Slide stop reload and another shot

StraightSh00ter
Looks nice! What was that 'assembly tool' that fell out when you re-assembled the gun? Is that to help line up the barrel link?
asimonp79
Hi I took a paper clip, flatten it, made a 90 deg corner with 4mm- and this is all what required - Video part 1 - 5:57 Because in guide rod there is little hole to insert this paper clip. When it is inserted ( and slide locked to the rear)- it blocks the recoil spring+plug+guide rod. Edited September 12, 2015 by asimonp79

Gooldylocks
Does anyone have any idea if the more custom guns are available through battle ready(in the U.S.)? I would love to unashamedly copy that black and gold one, but add a techwell to it. That thing is gorgeous.

asimonp79
2 day Thursday-Friday competition In tottal 86 shooters, out of them 68 in Standard devision ( all 2011 or CZ TS) There was no Classic devision ( only 2 arrived with 1911's ) and I had to shoot with 1911 minor in Standard ( against people that had 20+ mags and Majors...) Basically it was "test your skill" day. I took 3-rd place in Standard with 92.79%, loosing 0.6 points to second place ( Oh.... Gosh...) here are videos of the "gun at work" Edited October 3, 2015 by asimonp79
