ArrDave
I have a lost brass match coming up and I have about 100 of these suckers ready to go. The consensus I seem to have read is that you us a Small Magnum Pistol Primer and go on about life. Do you goose your charge at all, or just let it ride? What's your experience? bfalcon00
I have just used a SPP and went about my way. I don't shoot matches though and don't have to worry about PF like you will though. Some of my friends that shoot matches use SPP and up the charge a 0.1 just to be sure but the last time I talked to them, they really didn't see a difference between LPP and SPP. LilBunniFuFu
What PF is your ammo usually? if you have a buffer I would say let it ride. I haven't seen a different running N320 and standard SPP though. Can't say anything about how it affect other powders.

I'll just let it ride with a SPP rather than SMP.
Steve RA
I use SRPs in small primer .45 cases (Tula KVB 223) and did not notice any velocity change from LP cases with LP primers. Same bullet, same load: 4 grs Clays 200 gr LSWC 1.250 OAL Edited August 31, 2015 by Steve RA
nwhpfan
I haven't seen a difference between magnum and non so I've never changed my charge.

zzt
If I use standard CCI 500 primers I have to increase the charge between 0.1 and 0.2gr to equal the PF I get with the CCI 300. However, If i use the magnum CCI 550 primer, I get a higher PF than with the CCI 300 with the same powder charge. I usually don't sweat it, because I load to 172-175PF just to be sure.
