CMore RTS2

I may just be lucky but I have the latest version of the RTS2. It has an 8 MOA dot and a clear lense. I have probably over 10,000 rounds on it with 0 issues. It is the first optic that I've ever had to turn the brightness down on in the sun light. I hope it holds up because I really like it.

That is strange, about the brightness, because my Slideride is much brighter, and the company agrees - the small diode in the RTS2 is never going to be as bright. I am inclined to live with it, but I surely miss some extra brightness.

As far as the issues - it seems they got it under control, my last one seems to be doing fine.

I've had three so far, one earlier one which went back for repair. C-more replaced the innards and so far so good, and the newest model is doing great, On the brightness issue I usually run it on the highest setting in bright sun and a little lower with overcast. Having used the original C-more for fifteen years I really favor the smaller size and lower dot, and I think it looks 100 % better with a good mount. Lens size is not much smaller, no issue.

I purchase a CK Arms Open Gun with the RTS2 and so far it has been great. I am thinking about changing the 90 degree on my other Open Gun to the RTS2.

That's what I want to hear. I currently run a regular cmore 90 mounted. But I'm looking at a ck thunder open with rts2.

Do you notice much difference in window size between rts2 and regular cmore? How about dot height vs the 90 mount? Finally how do they compare on brightness?

Also, how do you like your ck open?

Thanks :)

Anyone have problems after replacing the battery on RTS2? My original battery was dimming so I replaced it with a new CR2032 and dot only comes on while holding + or - button. Put old battery in and it works fine.

What am I missing?

Say again? I'm not understanding what you are saying. I turn both of mine on by pressing the + button.

After replacing battery, the only way it comes on is to either hold the + or - button. As soon as I let go, dot goes out. I guess I didn't describe that part very well!

Hmm, that IS strange. Mine doesn't do that. Thanks for the clarification and I hope you get it sorted out.

Received my new CMore RTS2 from Shooters Connection a couple of weeks ago. It has been flawless with over 1000 rnds. through it already. So Glad CMore got the issues sorted out. It is an excellent sight just like the other CMore products.

Is yours a more recent V4 chip version? These problems have been corrected over the last 2 years.

I feel lucky with my RTS2, I still have the original battery after three matches leaving it on the whole match. No issues around dot disappearing either. It just works.
