BARRYJ
I'm thinking about buying an STI Trojan in 40 S&W. Does somebody offer a 10 round magazine? I might want to keep my Single Stack Minor and Limited 10 options open.
L3324temp
Tripp are supposed to be the best 10 rd mags. But I have them and a Trojan 40, but it doesn't run even after sending it back to STI. Hopefully you will have better luck.
Braxton1
L3324, how old is your Trojan? The early ones were notoriously bad....but there is a fix.
rishii
I might be wrong but for single stack the mag body Must be flush with the frame, I know the tripp 9 rounder is, plus the gun must fit in the box with a mag inserted, I don't know if a 10 rounder would fit. mach1soldier
You can make a 10 rounder fit the box with a little grinding on the basepad. For limited 10, you don't have that problem. Curious what the issue with your Trojan was? I have one that always nose dived. Added another 3 degrees to the barrel ramp and now feeds anything I feed it. BARRYJ
Dawson offers a 10 round Tripp mag with the corners ground off that they claim fits the box.
2MoreChains
These are the mags I use for SS .40 major: https://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=8000112F-1388518298 If looking for a 10-rnd mag, this is the same mag body just different follower: https://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=8000112E-1388518298 These mags extend below the frame more than your typical mag, however they fit the box and are good to go for SS and work well with the bigger magwells.
