louu
Hey guys I'm new to the 3 gun game. I watch a lot of videos and sometimes it seems like when some people flip the shotgun over and quad load or load 2 while walking or running they sweep their feet. Is this something to be aware of? Is this something that will get you sent to the Dairy Queen? Obviously I'm not going to do it on purpose just wondering how careful I should be. wgj3
You shouldn't be sweeping your feet when doing it.
JimmyZip
Had to go out to the back yard to see if this is an issue, and I gotta ask, could you post an example? I load 2 under my right arm with gun inverted, and even with the gun at less than a 45, and my long legs, I'm not close.
louu
I load like this and I'm thinking if the gun bounces around a little bit while running it could happen. https://youtu.be/SK6CYcrpO00
louu
Do RO's watch for it? Has anyone ever got DQed for it?
striped1
Huge feet or marching like a russian soldier on parade might get you one, but otherwise it would be very difficult. Could you bobble a reload and depress the gun enough? possibly, but I don't think the act of normal reloading will get you one.
usmc1094
A good thing about loading that way is that your hand in no where near the trigger.
bishop414
A good thing about loading that way is that your hand in no where near the trigger. Until you flip the gun back to shooting grip. Seen a couple DQs for premature trigger finger.

Dimitri
I suppose it could happen, if you hold the shotgun too close to the body (but it must be pointing almost verticaly down) during loading.
Doug H.
I've never seen anybody sweep themselves, 180 violations seem more likely. Doug
