EngineerEli Posted August 27, 2015 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Ive been wondering with these parts. on the original ones there are a lot of points you need to polish to improve trigger pull, but some of those spots required a lot of work to get rid of machining/ molding marks and what not. When the part is already chromed, do you just have to leave surfaces as they are? Can you polish chrome without going right through it? Is a chromed surface better than any polished steel surface will ever be? When having to fit the sear to the safety, is it especially hard because you have to file through the chrome? leemoe83 Posted August 29, 2015 Share Posted August 29, 2015 I know a shooter that has set up a gun for IPSC Production and he said it allows you to do a little polishing and you cannot tell it has been polished. As far i i know we can polish parts in IPSC No you can not polish parts in IPSC Production, only "remove burrs" for proper function or something like that.
