postal
So now that there are five gun categories ,does this mean everyone that has the four gun award will have to shoot again ? Does this make the four gun award obsolete? They have not updated the info ,or replaced the four gun award application to a five gun
redmist10
Yes and no. You can still be a four-gun whatever....but YES you will have to classify in ESR to get your five-gun. Personally, I think anyone with a SSR classification should reclassify also if they used an ESR gun to get the last classification. I think the new rule book makes it so that anyone competing in a major needs to classify within a certain time period though so it should work out. Round_Gun_Shooter
So now that there are five gun categories ,does this mean everyone that has the four gun award will have to shoot again ? I don't understand Where is the "Award" According to the IDPA web site it is a club you join for an additional $40 payment to IDPA. Even though I am classified in all 5 divisions (since first of Feb) I think I'll pass. Regards,

Bones
My good friend RGS is a little cynical. We'll send you a (5) gun award for $30 - each additional gun for $5 each - or - better yet - we'll send you a (100) gun award for $75 - that's only $7.50/gun, which is a 25% discount over IDPA HQ's $10/gun for the (4) gun award.
