Trying to Find an Old Article of Mine

Recommended Posts

Last night I was trying to find an old article of mine that was published in Handguns years ago. It's called "Advanced Training with the Firearms Academy of Seattle" and my records showed it as being published in the August 1995 issue. Guess what? It's not. I've looked through a whole bunch of other Handguns back issues as well and I can't find it. Anyone out there in the Enosverse group mind know in which issue this article is contained?

Thanks in advance.

Duane,

I don't have it --- but think I remember it from one of my most frequently reread issues: A special issue on autoloaders, possibly limited to DA autoloaders. Timeframe for publication would have been 1994-6, when I was still deciding whether I could be a gunowner......

Nope, that's not it. It would have been in the monthly magazine. I think. But then, what do I know? I can't find the damn thing.

Duane...is that the one that had a picture of you with a rope/harness around you? I might have it at home. If so, let me know and I'll do a search tonight.

Steve,

... It's got photos of people with toothpaste on their glasses during the "impaired vision" part of the test, etc.

Hmmm, I would have thought I would remember something like that. I can take a look tonight through my old magazine stack and see what I've got.

Duane,

sorry if I muddied the waters --- it's just that once upon a time, you seemed godlike. One of your articles on the G19 converted me to the darkside (and ownership of the first of three G19s) where I still play today. Hard to believe that that was 10-12 years ago.......
