BigBamBoo
Hi Gang. I am wanting to put a sling on my Versamax. I have a carbon arms tube on it. I ordered some Noveske flush cup QD, but that won't work on the forend as there is not enough material and the back side will interfere with the mag tube. Any suggestions? fishsticks
I haven't tried it, but I've always thought the Proctor sling would be the way to go on a shotgun. http://www.wayofthegun.us/black-proctor-sling/

BigBamBoo
I looked at the shooters source one, but where the shroud on the Carbon Arms mag tube joins the forend is recessed, so I don't think that will work.

Mines small enough that it stows in the stock of my m2, behind the gel pad
dogtired
Are you looking for QD? The Flush Cup you can install on the stock. Many options for the front. I added a qd attachment to my Nordic barrel clamp. Some don't like the clamp but it has not affected my accuracy. Or this from Carbon Arms: http://www.carbonarms.us/All-Products/Carbon-Arms-VT-cap.html Edited July 16, 2015 by dogtired
JBOT5000
drill into the handguard at the back of it by the receiver, there is plenty of room there to mount the noveske qd. I personally don't like having my sling at the end near the barrel as I find if the rifle or shotgun is hanging I can quickly grab the end of the handguard and not worry about grabbing sling. Another option is to grab the GG&G sling adapter that mounts between the stock and receiver and run a single point sling. JF
AFguywhoshoots
One of the guys I shoot with locally did the GG&G adapter on his. He said It was pretty easy, but he did have to do some work to his stock to get it fit right.
assaulter
I put a zip tie around the tube and then cinch the sling to that. It's rare that you use a sling much on the shotgun, so it's a cheap field expedient method.
JBOT5000
Zip ties the true friend of any real operator. Just so you know I will be stealing the zip ties method assaulter thanks for the tip.
