Edward Buttler
Hi All, I've a fairly new supernova, saying that I've shot in excess of 1000+ shells though it. I have a very annoying issue which I cannot seem to get rid of. Frequently when pumping, it's failing to feed a new round. The spent round is ejecting fine, but a new round is not being released every time. At first I thought I'm short stroking, but even when I making sure that this is not the case, this is still occurring. I thought it may have been the issue with the cartridge being release below the carrier and dropping out, but no. This is not happening either. The gun has had a good clean, any rough edges have been smoothed, Action bars are not too tight. Anyone any ideas on what to look for next? Many thanks. BobS761
Make sure the mag tube spring is long enough, assuming you have an extended magazine tube.
openclassterror
Often means the shell release bar is slightly bent, and is not fully clearing the shell rim. The opposite is also possible, with double feed the result. When it doesn't feed, is the shell hung up on the first or second catch? There are two, on opposite sides. Stlhead
Did you install a low drag follower? The nova's use a stepped follower and if a standard one is installed it will cause a funky little intermittent failure to feed.
