Jstafng
I had the same problem did a lot of research, and eliminated the 930. Now its between a decked out M3000 and a versamax tactical if I can pick the used one I've had my eye on for a good deal
Flatland Shooter
From another thread on the forum, you might want to include the Franchi Affinity. Sounds like a bit of an upgrade to the M3000 but bolt and carrier nearly identical to that in an M2. Apparently some parts, like the trigger assembly of the M2 parts will drop into the Affinity. Flatland Shooter
Now its between a decked out M3000 and a versamax tactical if I can pick the used one I've had my eye on for a good deal The USPSA had a deal for discounts with Remington in May. Had pretty decent prices (under $800) for one of the Versa-Max guns. If they considered it successful (some guns sold out) they may run it again in the future. Jstafng
I saw it couldn't pull the trigger though limited funds because college is EXPENSIVE. But wingnut if you decide M3000 check out MOA precision, they do great work with the M3000.
Steve RA
I'd vote for the Stoeger.
Jim Norman
Limited funds? Go with Tom at MOA and a Stoeger. The guns run very well when he works on them. Mine will cycle 2-3/4 dram 1 ounce loads unsupported. In a couple thousand rounds I've had 2 FTF with slugs, the gun was just about brand new at that time, since then ZERO issues. Do not expect this performance out of the box even with the M3K 3-gun version. It still needs Tom's touch.
R107H
I've bought one new Stoeger shotgun. I'll never buy another!
BOOM
MK3 are nice for the price, but Honestly any shotgun with all the bells and whistles adds up fast.
