zombywoof
Wifey wants to join a couples 22 league. She needs a light pistol. I have a 22 conversion for my compact polymer. Are there any easy solutions for mounting a red dot? I have a Fastfire base for my Witness. It would require milling of the slide to install the base. Nealio
I'm assuming your poly has a rail on it, and if so you can get picatinny optics mounts for pistols, like this:
zombywoof
Thanks Nealio, but my pistol is an older one with no rail.
earplug
22 league Bullseye shooting? If so bite the bullet and buy a nice .22 target pistol that is drilled and tapped for a red dot. Most production center fire pistols have really crappy precision triggers and sights for Bullseye.. My STI frame with a Marvel conversion is much lighter then my High Standard or S&W M-41. A polymer Ruger with a aftermarket alloy sleeved barrel might work.
