trouble
Thinking about trying out some coated bullets. Does anyone make a 124gr RN with no lube groove? Anyone have any favorites?

bowenbuilt
ACME makes an excellent bullet. Been shooting them now for about a year. As good as anyone's and better than most.
polizei1
The 125gr Blue Bullets don't have a groove either...but I'm curious, why do you care?

fishsticks
S&S casting 125 gr is my favorite, and seems to have the best all-around pricing. http://www.snscasting.com/new-9mm-125-grain-round-nose-coated-1000ct/
11287
I'm new to the coated bullets. Can they be used to make 9mm major?

BiggMike
I'm new to the coated bullets. Can they be used to make 9mm major? Yes they can. I am using a 124gr BBI with HS-6 for 9mm major.
mule700
Bayou bullets are my favorite. Check his website and see if he has what you are looking for. Donnie is a great guy to deal with and you can call him with any questions you have.
Elcidaviator
Rocky Mountain Reloading has some. Is there any reason why nobody seems to use Rocky Mountain Reloading? I've sent 2000 down the pipe and I love them so far. They are usually around $80/1000 shipped which is on par for all moly coated bullets. I'm just curious as to why they are never mentioned. TDA
I may have missed it, but I didn't see where RMR sells any coated bullets.
Elcidaviator
You are correct. They are indeed plated. For some reason I thought they were calling their bullets coated for some reason. Non the less I've had great experience since switching from Precision Moly bullets to RMRs.
gng4life
I use Bayou (124 TCG has not ring) and Blue Bullets (124 RN has not ring) quite a bit for Minor loads. They are both great to deal with and the bullets are quality.
rtp
S&S casting 125 gr is my favorite, and seems to have the best all-around pricing. http://www.snscasting.com/new-9mm-125-grain-round-nose-coated-1000ct/ I like the SNS (seem uniform and well-coated), but they do need a shorter OAL for my CZ and PPQ compared to e.g. Bayous and some others. YMMV - I wouldn't worry about that issue at all if shooting a Glock, but I have to run the SNS 125r at ~1.080"
