Romans 13 4 Posted May 26, 2015 Share Posted May 26, 2015 Coworkers and friends of Tim Kennedy are hosting a 3 gun event in Medford Oregon on September 26th to raise money for Tim's fight with cancer. Tim Kennedy is a Deputy Sheriff in Jackson County Oregon and was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and is looking at a year of chemo, radiation and surgery. Tim is a fantastic guy, one of the best. The match will have two divisions, scoped tactical and limited. We are toying with the idea of a team trophy in both division's as well. The team trophy will be based on you and a buddy signing up to be a team, taking your times, adding them = placement. LEO's signing up to shoot are encouraged to use their duty gear. We are just getting the stages started so I don't have a round count yet but we are going to have 6 stages. Longest range will be around 225 yards. We are working with the opm3gun / Robert Libke memorial match to process fees and donations to make them tax deductible. Entry fees will be $125 and all proceeds are going directly to Tim. Our sponsors are stepping up to make it a great prize table. We have a couple of donated guns so far as well as other items. Freedom Munitions, Vortex, Nosler and Living Southern Oregon Real Estate have all committed to sponsor the match. The local Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) lodge is going to raffle off a weapon and I will post more information on that as soon as I get it. We will have more updates on sponsors as they come in. The match will be held at the Rogue Valley Sports Park, White City. I check my PM's here as well as my email so hit me with any questions you might have. We have a local firearms business, B and B Armory, who will be on site to do the transfers for those lucky enough to win firearms.
