VinceInJax
Hello All, I tried to self-install a Ghost Rocket 3.5 connector this evening. I thought everything was fine, put the gun back together and the trigger is stuck in the forward position and will not move. How do I get the slide back off? dskinsler83
Lock the slide back then remove rear cover plate. Pullout striker assembly then take apart as normal

I thought everything was fine, put the gun back together and the trigger is stuck in the forward position and will not move. How do I get the slide back off? Hola! Pretty easy fix! Lock the slide back... Remove the rear plate... Remove extractor bar and striker... Let plunger fall out of the bottom of the grip... Take out extractor... Bring slide forward... Should come right off ;-) In the future, those orange armorers plates really make this easy :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

bowenbuilt
Wiggle the slide lock around while putting pressure on the pin and it should pop loose. Lift it, push on it and wiggle around while putting pressure on the pin. Edited May 16, 2015 by bowenbuilt

AZGunut
You did shorten the overtravel tab a small amount at a time, right? It's not a drop in part it needs to be fit. Edited May 16, 2015 by AZGunut
VinceInJax
i didn't know that. My G35 came with a factory 3.5 connector. I polished it, the trigger bar, safety plunger and it seemed to smooth out. What drop in connector would you recommend?

dskinsler83
If it's a rocket yes you have to shorten the tab. It's not hard and can be done quickly
b1gcountry
The best drop in 3.5#connector is the glock factory one
