When to reset trigger?

When is the best time to reset trigger assuming you are engaging multiple targets?

a. As soon as you fired on T1 before transition to T2

b. Reset while in transition (moving sights to T2 not feet) to T2

c. Sights on T2 then reset

During recoil, so "A" is the closest, but I don't think about it as before the transition, a transition can begin during recoil at the same time the trigger can be reset. also not every shot ends with a transition to another target

Agreed, reduce the amount of "downtime" when firing the gun and reset the trigger during recoil. When the sights drop back down the firearm and shooter should be ready to fire another round.
