zzw26n
Any recommendation for a legal 2011 for SSP?
3djedi
None are legal for SSP. The STi EAGLE bushing barrel is legal in IDPA ESP. The marauder is just like the eagle with a rail it may be legal as well...... You could get the eagle w/ bushing barrel in .40 and be good to go in USPSA Limited and you could load minor power factor(if you wanted or just use factory ammo) and play in IDPA ESP and 3-gun....... himurax13
Any recommendation for a legal 2011 for SSP?Have you even read the rules?SSP stands for Stock Service Pistol. This usually means a striker fired or a double action gun. Most, if not all, 1911/2011 style pistols will not fit that description.

zzw26n
Part of the problem is that the IDPA Rules does not have a List of SSP Pistols. The rules go on to say "selective DA/SA the hammer must be lowered". I currently use a CZ Shadow in SSP and I lower the hammer on LMR command.
