Locator Pins

Recommended Posts

Howdy, I've been loading on my 550 since the end of December. Everything works very well, however...

I have more than a few times, taken the locator pin out of station 2 or 3 to check a powder weight, set the pin in my bullet tray, and forgotten to put it back, thereby crunching the case if it's station 2. Does anyone know the thickness of the plastic tabs on the 1050? I am thinking of finding some plastic and making some tabs. Or, does Dillon sell the tabs separately? If I see a blue thing in the bullet tray, I most likely won't forget to put the pin back.

I use jewelry tags on my pins. Makes them easy to remove and put back in and the white tabs keeps you from losing them in the bullet tray. They can be found at Office Depot and you get a large pack for less than $5.

I just found a part number for the tabs at Dillon, ordered some.

Can you list the part number

Blue Locator Tab #13569 $1.60ea

Blue Short Locator Tab # 17384 $1.60 ea

The short tabs are for the handle side of the S1050
