The call said that I or my tax lawyer should call a phone number to discuss my taxes. Very annoying. If you are the recipient of any such call, just hang up. That's not how the IRS does business. I love the fact they are giving you a call back number.... because I make a game of seeing how angry I can make the guy by continuously calling him back. ME: "I think there's something wrong with your phone, we got disconnected." SCAMMER: "I HUNG UP ON YOU!" ME: "Oh, that wasn't very nice of you." Take care with that. There are (or used to be) scams that count on you calling back because the line is a pay line.
