Foxbat
Found some new to me brass, while sorting. Jag. FM - looks like the Ammoload, with the internal step. Perfecta Any good, any of them?
Sarge
I have loaded and shot JAG and perfecta's in 9MAJOR without issue. FM is probably Freedom Munitions? Reportedly just as much junk as the other stepped brass.
ruleyoutoo1911
I've also loaded JAG and Perfecta with no issues, not in major but about 130 pf. FM would be a new one to me, I have seen the Ammoload and IMT with the internal ledge though.
Elcidaviator
I broke an IMT right at the ledge with a 130PF load. I'll seperate everything with a step out from now on. 4.3gr of HP-38, under a 124gr bullet
gng4life
I would stay away from any brass with the step in it. Myself and another guy on the forum had case head separations from brass just like that (he recovered his, it was AmmoLoad, I didn't recover mine but found lots of those in my brass bin) last week at Area 6. Foxbat
Yes, the step brass goes into trash, no questions. There is also a fair amount of Tulaarms in there - any experience with that one? Looks crudely made, by comparison.
ruleyoutoo1911
I've loaded Tulsa also, just for practice ammo. Found a few where it looked like the primer pocket was a bit off center, but have had no real issues with them.
Foxbat
How about DRT?
ruleyoutoo1911
I've loaded DRT brass, again just for practice ammo. Haven't had any issues.
