Nealio
I know this is probably more "reloading" related, but I just noticed Xtreme has a 165gr 9mm bullet now. Figured you production guys might be interested. http://www.xtremebullets.com/9mm-165-RN-p/xc9mm-165rn-b0500.htm
peterthefish
Been around at least 6 or 8 months now. Not sure if they're as Gamer as the 160 Bayous.
Nealio
Why would a lighter bullet be more "gamer" ?
RobertLx
My buddy use the 165 Xtreme out of a glock 34. They tumble. Not sure if it's too heavy, but I don't think anything over 147 is necessary. It's 9mm minor.
Nealio
Nothing over 100gr is "necessary"... Just throwin it out there.
peterthefish
Why would a lighter bullet be more "gamer" ? Can get away with a lighter charge under the cast 160s than the Xtremes, so less recoil with a 160.

MrPostman
I am shooting 165s out of my Limited 9mm. Using 2.6-2.7 grains of titegroup and an OAL of 1.140. They are more accurate than my 147s probably due in part to the increased bearing surface of the much longer bullet. The gun shoots super soft almost .22 LR soft. himurax13
Hmm, these look interesting. I figure 2.8 to 3.0g of titegroup is needed to make 131 to 135 PF.

MrPostman
You will probably get pressure signs at higher powder charges, especially at 3 grains. It makes 129 pf out of my 4.75 inch polygonal rifled Lothar Walther maunfactured barrel at 2.7 grains.

If I try these out and like them, is there some place I can get a decent discount on them?

I run the same load thru my G34 (lone wolf barrel). 2.6gr at 1.140 makes 130PF thru the G34. I have experienced ZERO tumbling issues and they are as accurate as any 147gr ive ever loaded. And yes, it is STUPID how soft they shoot.
shabodah
anyone consider drilling them for a soft hollow point?
