opensol
Is anyone reusing the primers that fall off the primer dispenser? In other words, I have an attachment that catches the primer that for whatever reason was never set in the casing so it falls into this little tube. I want to reuse those primers. Any reason why not? PKT1106
Are you talking about repressing the cups, filling it back up with priming compound and inserting a new anvil for the primer cup to be re-used?
RDA
Are you talking about repressing the cups, filling it back up with priming compound and inserting a new anvil for the primer cup to be re-used? I am fairly certain he wasn't implying spent primers and was referring to live primers. Although, I did see a video once where someone made liver primers from spent primer cups. opensol
RDA is correct. These are live primers that fall off into the chute and then a plastic tube attachments I bought on eBay.
DWNZRO
I think he's talking about the little tray that catches unused primers. When I see it getting full, I put them in a tube and load them up.
razorfish
The live primers you're collecting in your bottle are no different than primers you may have spilled on your bench. If you don't feel comfortable reusing them, store them in well marked containers by brand/type and I'll be by to collect them in a couple of years

redial
Spent SP or SR primers can be used as marginal airgun pellets in .177 launchers. Mark
