mertbl
I just put a set of JP yellow springs in my rifle and have had a few primers fail to detonate when shot. These are the wolf 223 ar primers. Is there a recommended primer for these trigger springs. For what it's worth I've never had a failure with these primers and stock springs. darkvibe
I used those springs and a mil Spec fcg and usually ran silver bear ammo without ever having a light strike. No idea what primers they use. Wolf primers are hard though. CCI or winchester should be a bit softer.
Dan Sierpina
I've been using both the Wolf primers and JP yellow springs with no ignition issues. Are you sure the primers were properly seated?
rishii
Stock hammer or lightened ? I ran into the same problem and solved it by cutting off the tang on the back of the hammer, take a look at the jp lightened Hammer to compare

I have been running the yellow spring with lightened hammer in one of my lowers for a year with Rem71/2, Wolf 223M, Fed AR, and CCI#41 and never had a light strike. mertbl
I'm using the alg act trigger. I'm fairly certain the primers are properly seated. I'll dounless check before I go shooting again.
