kmonroe99
Using a Dillon Square Deal B... Just setting up for a lead 125 gr RNFP in 38 Special cases (cowboy load). I first made a noobie mistake in seating the bullet at the loading manual OAL (1.445). I've figured out I need to go to the crimping groove which is shorter than the manual OAL, so I fixed that. I've got about a + 0.015 flare. Before flaring, after sizing, the cases fit fine in a revolver cylinder. After seating the bullet to the crimp groove and crimping, there's a definite lip or edge on the top of the case. The case will not enter a test cylinder. Does that mean just keep increasing the crimp until the case will fit? Thanks
