LuckyDucky
What is the best method for first person video? I'm looking at getting the Pivothead HD glasses. They make ansi standard lenses and the camera is right between your eyes. I've seen people with cameras on top of their hat or on their ear muffs, but that seems bulky to me. Are there other brands similar to pivothead? http://www.pivothead.com/technology/originals/
jon49erfan
1080p@30FPS isnt exactly ideal for action. Is "best" in your mind least intrusive or best video quality?
B45C22
Go pro or contour on top makes the best video. Location options with those aren't the best, but if rather have good video and audio. I haven't found the glasses to have good video quality, and the ones that do offer good video have terrible audio. I have both and run the contour on my muffs most of the time. presadad
I use a GoPro bolted to a hat. It doesn't look very cool or sleek, but the video quality is good. The camera is light enough that I don't even know it's there.
Superpipe9
I think the new Sony action cams are the best. Video and audio is better than the go pro and I like the mount on the side or the muffs better than on top

vetdocone
Replay should be looked at. I like my results and the camera is small. audio and video are good.
Kraj
I really like my go pro,I have the silver plus. There is a link in my signature to the few matches I shot with it. I think for what we do you need more fps to keep it clear. I use 720p and 90fps
BeerBaron
Here's some vid from fellow enos member niroth81 using the oldest model Sony action cam AS15. Now superseded 4 times! You could probably get an as15 now for $50. They are a great cam and the new ones even better. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx0RScRSKcM
BeerBaron
Here's the thread where he explained how he mounted it. I mounted mine the same way and it's excellent. Very stable, adjustable, easy to remove and so light I don't know its there. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=190403#

ad5md
I've been using the Tachyon Gun Cam HD and very happy with it. Small footprint, unobtrusive, very good video and audio quality. You might want to check it out. Also, it comes with a free cap with the cam mount on it. www.tachyoninc.com

Let me know if you have any questions or need help with them http://pivothead.super-tactical.com Do they still point well if you have had a broken nose and the bridge of your nose isn't straight so your glasses don't sit perfectly straight?
