Jbarila
Quick question, I have an STI Executive and was wondering about the grip screw at the front of the trigger guard. When you tighten the two small screws down on the sleeve tightly do they turn freely or should they tighten and not spin?
smokeandmirrors
The screws on my Edge always spun. I haven't noticed any movement in the STI I have now. I remember using two hex wrenches to try to pinch both screws into the plastic countersinks of the trigger guard of my Edge, but I don't think it matters. As long as both screws are tight in the sleeve, the front of the plastic grip will be unified with metal frame and the whole thing is doing its job. gng4life
They should tighten up. The sleeve is what is anchoring the front of the frame to the grip but the screws ensure the sleeve doesn't come out.

Ultimo-Hombre
the screws just tighten against the sleeve, if you are only turning one side it will turn. but a spare set. if you travel more than 400 miles to a match they auto eject.
