Adam B
I just got the new Xtreme Firing Pin 2.0 and it is hitting the firing pin block before it even goes in, any tips on fitting this?
Prov1x
You have to push down on the firing pin block and make sure it is oriented correctly with the pin, and push it in. If that is what you are asking?
Adam B
I am pushing in the block so it is flush in the channel and the pin is still hitting it
johnbu
I had issues getting the fp in with the exact alignment. But once lined up, it goes in good. Have you verified the fp without the block fits? And the gap in the blick is big enough?
Prov1x
The alignment has to be just right to get it in. Try pushing in the pin without the firing pin block and see if it's dragging on anything. If not then I would think it's just the alignment.
Adam B
these are the pins I have, http://www.ericgrauffelonlineshop.com/en/tanfoglio-custom-parts/200-xtreme-firing-pin-20-by-eric-grauffel.html?search_query=xtreme&results=25 I don't think they will work with any gun with a firing in block, the factory pin has the side where the block is ground flat
Prov1x
Yes that is the wrong firing pin, you need this one http://www.ericgrauffelonlineshop.com/en/upper-parts/216-tanfoglio-xtreme-firing-pin.html
