EngineerEli
OK, so, looking at the rules for production division you are allowed to use sights from any gun or manufacturer on your gun. You are even allowed to modify the slide if necessary to accommodate the sight. If someone like myself were worried about an adjustable rear sight on my Stock III and wanted to go with a fixed version, I think everyone would agree, no problem right? But what if this rear sight can happen to be used as a slide racker, is it still a legal swap to be made on a production gun? Would it bump me to open only if I used it as such in competition? I'm pretty sure the slide cuts for the TS and all the Witness Elites are the same but if some one that knows could confirm, that would be really helpful. alma
That would be perfectly legal for USPSA Production Division. The TS has an LPA cut. I don't know the sight cut on the Stock 3.
e-mishka
TS dovetail is wider then limited, you would need to file rear sight a little bit to fit. I have one already tried it with I can give it to you to play with. But blade notch this too wide for my liking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
kneelingatlas
I use a TS rear on my Hunter, like e-mishka said, it's ~0.3mm wider and must be filed to fit.
bikerburgess
I rack the slide on my plain Jane small frame steel pistol with the rear sight all the time. People look at me funny till they try it then they think it's great
