MikeRush
Totally legitimate question, not trolling for tungsten thread 2.0- Who does sleeved barrels in the US? I called Limcat and they said their barrels are only for complete builds. I know Akai bores out the slide and fits tool steel sleeves similar to the jumbo tungsten guns in the Philippines. Anyone else doing this kind of work? Last year we picked up a short dust cover bushing 40 for my girlfriend and major power factor through a 34 oz gun is a bit of a challenge for her. I know I can start with the bolt ons such as stainless magwell, stainless MSH, tungsten guide rod, or even a PT steel grip, but I just wanted to see what my options are for getting weight out front. I could weld up some weight on the front, add machined tungsten weights to frame, etc- but this gun could probably benefit from a fresh barrel and fit. I'm still working on the mill, but no plans to get a lathe so I don't have much of a DIY option here.
