Question on Simmons Pro-Diamond...BENNY!?

With the "Pro Diamond reticle" what do you use as reference points for your hold overs?

I'm a little surprised that there's no problem w/ parallax error w/ the correction in this scope being at 50yds, and some of the targets being a good deal further out. Anybody notice much shifting of the crosshairs due to the (lack of) parallax correction? I realize that most of the scopes available in this low power range aren't AO or side-focus either, so I'm not picking on the Pro-Diamond in particular; just curious in general

grabbed one of these for $49-thought it was worth a try. glass is a-ok, field of view is nice too. the only complaint after spending a day at the range was the 1/2" adjustments. man, one click at 200 yds is 2"!!! and that's my zero. forget it if you zero at 300! oh well, dunno how you do it benny, but that sacres me. i got it close so we'll take it to bakersfield this month and give it a try...

Zero at 50, that puts you 2 1/2 hi at 100, about 2 hi at 200, 7 or 8 lo at 300. thats with 55s------Larry

CDNN's website showed out of stock for the $50 simmons pro-diamond 1.5-5x20. I ordered one 3 weeks ago (from CDNN) so the bargain may be gone. The scope worked great in a RRA hi-rise mount at the 3-gun match in OKC last weekend.
