GOF
Dumb question... do the magazines for the Glock 34 fit the Glock 19... and would an adjustable screw Kydex holster that fits the G34 be able to be adjusted for a G19? I don't shoot Glocks, but a younger shooter I kinda coach, who does, has asked the question. He shoots a 34 in IDPA EX class and is thinking about getting into the new CCP division... but has a new child and not a lot of funds. He has a model 1911 9mm he could sell to get a G19, and if the rest of the system fit, it would be a perfect solution for him.
RangerTrace
Yes the 17 rounders will work in a G19, but not the other way around. And the 19 should work in a holster designed for a 34 or at least mine do......
JimM
Yes, tHe G34 mags will fit in a G19 but will extend out the bottom of the grip of the G19. Check the overall dimensions for a gun in CCP as the G34 mags may be too long.

RePete
Just don't smack the mag home.
GOF
Why not? I don't shoot Glocks in competition, so I wonder.
RePete
The G17/34 mag is longer and you could drive it higher into the gun causing a malfunction. 1911's + the early version 10rd mags had this problem, nas did the AR's and the Gen 1 Thermold mags. OPENB
Glock mags have a ledge on the left side just down from the feed lips that prevent over insertion.
RangerTrace
Glock mags have a ledge on the left side just down from the feed lips that prevent over insertion. Nothing prevents over insertion if the slide is locked back......
