Sandbagger123 Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 i have a FO rear on my STI. i want to change it to a plain rear. there are a lot of companies that offer them. Dawson, kensight etc. i already have infinty one and dont think its worth the extra cash though. So whats the difference between all the companies and what is the best? OPENB Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 The STI rear had a reputation of breaking the hinge pin. I broke one on my Trojan years ago, STI sent me several at no cost. I've used the Caspian also, no complaints. I think the Kensight is closest to the original Bomar, but only from what I've heard, no experience. I have a Dawson on my RIA Pro Match, but in the LPA cut. Solid sight that I'd recommend. Dawson makes good stuff. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MikeRush Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 I've tried a few of the clones and settled on Kensight. Haven't had any issues. I've seen them pop up on a surprising number of high end builds. I've broken STI, Dawson, and Bomar. Haven't owned SV although some friends have said they are worth it.
