TwoLaneBlackTop Posted March 7, 2015 Share Posted March 7, 2015 Has anyone ever tried the Mec-Gar produced 10mm K10 mags with the stock black magazine follower and a Henning H141 base-plate? If so what spring did you use with this combination, what capacity did you achieve, and finally did the setup using the stock follower feed reliably? Nealio Posted March 7, 2015 Share Posted March 7, 2015 Yes, I used a spare Grams spring. It worked fine for me and I think I got the same capacity as with the grams follower, maybe 1 less. The Grams follower runs a little smoother though. In my 9mm I ran the stock sprung and follower for a few thousand rounds but the spring set a little and it wouldn't feed the last round reliably. The whole follower kit from Grams is only $5 more than the spring so I just upgraded to those. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
