usa259
Hello all, I joined the forum yesterday and have already learned and been intrigued by all that there is to learn. I'm originally from up-state NY, as in the Adirondack Park area; now reside in MD. I've been away from shooting for 15 to 20 years. I was hand loading back then for 9 mm and recently purchased a 40 S&W. Intend to start hand loading again for both. My other interest are catamaran racing, skiing, and occasional mountain biking. My shooting interest are hand loading and IDPA. I can thank the PowerFactor Show for introducing me to IDPA... Thank you, Chris

swearengen
Hello from another Marylander. Do you shoot IDPA at AAFG?
usa259
Hi Swearengen, I've only look at AAFG's website, pulled into their driveway once and with all the signs decided to turn around. I am interested in trying IDPA and AAFG seems like the closest. Can you recommend someone to contact at the club about IDPA? Thank you, Chris Edited March 9, 2015 by usa259

Scruff
I am new to the group also, and am a "probationary member" of the Anne Arundel Fish & Game Club. A current "full" member of the club has to sponsor you to join. A little interview process occurs (painless), and a 6 month probationary period to attend a few orientation classes and get signed off in pistol, shotgun, and rifle. A bit of a cumbersome process, but again, painless. (and fun). Ask around, someone you know may be a longtime member of the club, and could sponsor you!
