DDustin
Has anyone made more slide lightening cuts to the XDm 5.25? I'm really considering it and I'd like some ideas on how to make it look right with the 5.25's angles. Does anyone have any pictures of work they've had done? Thanks a lot Dustin

Iggy42
Springer Precision has a few on their facebook page That said I also would like to see something different than the norm. Hoping to someday add an Open/Unlimited gun to the stable and I want something about my person pistol that sets it apart from the rest.

1911vm
When doing slide cuts . is there a point where recoil springs need to be changed? Because the slide is to lite. Edited April 7, 2015 by 1911vm
RIIID
When doing slide cuts . is there a point where recoil springs need to be changed? Because the slide is to lite. One might think so but NO, the recoil spring is opposed by the firing pin spring. Going too light on the recoil spring will let the firing pin spring to pull the slide back("out of battery").
