tracker366
When mine fell out I took a small drill bit and cleaned the hole up and superglued a red fiber back in it.still there.I used a fiber from my ruger mkIII KIT. Worked great
RangerTrace
The easiest way I've found is to heat one end of the new fiber with a lighter to make it swell. Pull the fiber through the front sight, from back to front (chamber to muzzle) until the enlarged portion of the fiber is caught by the recess in the front sight. Use finger nail clippers to trim the excess fiber sticking out of the front of the sight, leaving about a mm or so. Then apply pressure to the end you've already heated and while doing so, heat the other end with the lighter. Heat it long enough that is balls up slightly against the sight. You're done.
