cope2509
M2 ~2,500 rounds on original springs Problem; Lifter intermittently sticking up on the last shot Solution (Hopefully); New Cartridge Drop Lever Spring and Carrier Spring in hand. The Carrier Spring replacement looks straightforward. Question; What is the Cartridge Drop Lever Spring replacement process?
kurtm
The cartridge drop lever spring has nothing to do with what your lifter is doing, matter of fact it doesn't really ever need to be replaced, but it is a nice spare part go have if you ever have to completely strip your trigger group. It is an easy one to loose. Edited February 18, 2015 by kurtm
cope2509
Thanks, do you think replacing the Carrier Spring is going to fix it up?
kurtm
It should, if not you might want to check the side to side play of the carrier lever and the amount of slop the carrier lever pin has, but the spring is where I would start. These are the parts Benelli calls the breach bolt latch, and breach bolt latch pin. Edited February 18, 2015 by kurtm
