zipollini
Just curious as to what people feel is the best high end speed holster for use with an M & P Core in open division competition. Thanks in advance.

gng4life
I'm looking to build an Open M&P soon for the wife and daughter. They really like that platform so I'm look at holsters also. Since I use the RaceMaster for my 2011 and Revolvers, I'm going to say that would be the best for me for now. I will get an insert and try it soon to see how it performs but if it's like the 2011 insert, it will be awesome!
zipollini
Couldn't find any insert for the Racemaster and the M & P Core models. Ghost doesn't look like they have anything to offer either. Was looking at your Safariland 014 pics last night Bkreutz. Looks like it might be the way to go. gng4life
HUH? I am pretty sure they have a M&P insert, one second... yeah, it's listed on the site, there are about 20+ inserts listed and there is one for the M&P...
zipollini
Found it. Was looking at US suppliers site and not the DAA international site. Wonder if anybody in the states has them or do I need to order directly thru DAA. Edited February 12, 2015 by zipollini

1911luvr
Safariland 014 Used my 014 for the first time two weeks ago. First draw of the competition saw the barrel retention nipple break off and go flying. Not exactly what I expected from a $200 holster...
glockn22
how about speedsec 6? it's a universal open style holster.
dansedgli
I prefer my safariland 014 to my racemaster.

Seriously, that's too bad, I've used mine hard for over a year without any problems. Must have been a defect in the plastic tip.

Got my DAA Racemaster holster and like you - the retention nipple stripped out and fell off the 1st day I had it. Not good. Love the holster though so will figure out a solution. gng4life
I tried one of those on my RM (with my 2011) and didn't like it so I took it off. I love my RM also. Sent from the range
