RiggerJJ
Use a crono and work up a load for YOUR gun just like everyone else has had to. Be careful, Glock mags don't let you load very long, which can lead to very high pressures. good luck... jj
gng4life
Do you have a chrono? I'm guessing no but tell us differently please. I would feel very hesitant to give out exact loads for 9Major without chrono workup. Too dangerous. 9Major is safe as long as you work up slowly, watch for danger signs and use good components. tackleman
Yes I do have a chrono. Been loading for over 35 years. Just started using HS-6 and was trying to get a range of loads, been using Autocomp and having a hard time finding it. Found a bunch of HS-6. gng4life
Awesome, my pet load is 8.2, 1.150 OAL, same bullet, CCI primers. This gets me right at 170-171 PF. This is in a KKM barrel, no holes, 2011 platform. A buddy of mine who shoots a Glock platform with a KKM barrel loads at 7.8 of HS6 but OAL is shorter, not sure exactly what it is. I would start at 7.0 and work up slowly watching for pressure signs and PF. Were you loading at 1.142 with Glock mags? I would think that's too long but I'm not sure. tackleman
Thank you Burned Out. I have starter loads of 6.8, 7.0 & 7.2. Yes Glock mags and they are working very well, put several hundred rounds at that length. Sounds like I am on the right track.
Hi-Power Jack
Glock mags working very well, put several hundred rounds at that length. Sounds like I am on the right track. Might try the Plunk Test and see if you can't lengthen your OAL a bit - get it up to 1.150"? Little less pressure for you.
