Youngeyes
Just got the new 100 rd gauge. LOVE it. So much easier than the single. I love when a product is so much better than what I've been using. Fits my MTM ammo cases and the 100 rounds drop nicely with only a few shakes and taps. I must admit to not checking every round before this, due to the hassle. Thanks for a great product. PS What are the two drilled holes in the side for? Alan550
What are the two drilled holes in the side for? That's so you can put a string through there and hang it like an earring in your wife's jewelry box!
Sarge
What are the two drilled holes in the side for? I have wondered that as well. I'm guessing to assist in the manufacturing process.
shred
Not all gauges have the accessory holes, but all but the very first black anodized do as they make the anodizing much more consistent (it's still not perfect, but a lot more reliable now). Some commercial loaders use the holes to bolt several gauges onto one plate for bulk-checking ammunition, some people have made stands with them and sooner or later we'll have something that goes there too. If you do want to bolt something to them, they are tapped 1/4-28. Be careful not to use long bolts as you can distort the gauge holes by bottoming a bolt in them.
