Joe D
Just a reminder for those that have not noticed the new rule. Two -3s will get you a FTN. There must be a least one -1.
Crusher
After April 15th, 2005, of course.
waktasz
What about 6 -3's...that should do it (but it doesn't)

GRD
Now, now, don't go trying to read the thing 'literally'. I mean, don't you have any common sense?! What's the matter with you! <sigh> - Gabe
Clay1
GRD and I are going to give people that shoot all 0's a FTN since they didn't shoot at least one -1. Sorry, Gabe but the previous conversation about this still has me laughing. I'm kidding, I'm kidding don't get bent out of shape - you have to smile about the new rule book or you will tear your hair out.
diehli
you have to smile about the new rule book or you will tear your hair out. Yeah, smile!!!
GRD
GRD and I are going to give people that shoot all 0's a FTN since they didn't shoot at least one -1. I'm gonna do it, I swear. And then I'm going to take pictures of all the crying shooters, stick them in a big envelope and mail them to HQ with a note "HAPPY NOW?!" - Gabe
Crusher
Hey GRD, why not use one of the vidio cell phones record the events as they transpire and THEN ship the whole video off to HQ? Maybe even post a link here too? Should be good for a few laughs and God knows we need those laughs from time to time, keeps us sane
Mayonaise
Joe, I like the rule. Forces even more accuracy. It will only hurt the spray and pray crowd.
Crusher
But the rule (regardless of it's intent and most know the intent) is POORLY WRITTEN (and that is being KIND), as are some other sections of the new and improved rulebook (3rd edition for the re-write). rhino
Apparently "poorly written" and "ambiguous" and "illogical" don't really matter AS LONG AS WE CAN STOP THE GAMERS! WE MUST STOP THE GAMERS AT ALL COSTS!
Ferrell Spicer
More accuracy? A miss and a -1 gets no FTN, but two -3's does?
Crusher
All at once now "DEATH TO THE GAMERS" ! Hey wait a min ain't IDPA a game? It would appear it is a game with some "poorly written" and "ambiguous" and "illogical" rules. Ahh whatever GAME ON!
Joe D
I guess I don't have a big problem with it, until it happens to me. Heck, the way I have been shooting lately, too many -0s = too slow, why should I care.
Mayonaise
More accuracy? A miss and a -1 gets no FTN, but two -3's does? Makes sense to me. I don't see the problem. -3's SUCK!
Crusher
Can't figure it out either? I guess HQ's philosophy is one in a threat and one launched somewhere else is BETTER than 2 accounted for as long as one strikes close to center mass (-1) who cares where the other has landed, no penalty for you. Duane Thomas
What about 6 -3's...that should do it (but it doesn't) Anyone who posts six -3s should gets twenty lashes with a wet noodle - and an FTN.
mcoliver
More accuracy? A miss and a -1 gets no FTN, but two -3's does? 'Coz in the real world, the miss actually goes to the hidden BG.
Bones
I like it. In addition to the focus on accuracy and spanking gamers, it also relieved those members challenged by algebra and compound sentences. On that note - it certainly clarified it for me. Now, if we could just stop this silly "divide points down by two" fiasco I'd be liberated from fractions as well... Craig
